Stop by our used book sale Saturday, Sunday, or Monday!
Roughly every other month we hold a used book sale in our Upper Level Conference Room. Get great bargains on books, compact discs, and DVDs for all ages.
(Any time you are in the library you can also check out our smaller ongoing book sale on the two shelves in our Main Reading Room.)
All proceeds support library programs and services!
Thank you to the MRSPL Foundation, which purchased our moveable book sale shelves and whose volunteers help with the book sale set up and staffing.
Join our children’s librarians for songs, stories, and rhymes!
Come check out the wonderful and varied world of modern board games. Play various tabletop games that are simple to learn and fun to master. This is a great way to meet new people.
For December we will be discussing The Stone Diaries by Carol Shields.
A general book discussion held roughly every 6 weeks from September through June, usually on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. Focuses on a variety of fiction and nonfiction titles selected in advance (over the summer) by the group.
Need a copy of the book? Please search our online catalog or our Overdrive ebook/audiobook collection to check the availability of this book. Special book group copies are also set aside roughly several weeks before the discussion and can be requested on a first come, first serve basis by emailing circ@fallschurchva.gov.
Special thanks to the MRSPL Foundation, whose support enables us to purchase extra copies of each title for this book club. To learn more about the Foundation, which is an independent 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to enhancing library materials, services, programs, and equipment, please visit mrsplfoundation.org!
The group will discuss:
A "Great Books" discussion concentrating on literary classics (both traditional and modern) usually meeting at 7 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. All are welcome.
