Open Season Dates
The 2026 Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) Open Season will run from November 10, 2025, through December 8, 2025. Open Season starts every year on the Monday of the second full work week in November and ends on the Monday of the second full work week in December.
Access to Checkbooks' Annual Guide
Online Access:
Checkbook is expected to release its online version of the 2026 Guide to Health Plans for Federal Employees on November 10. To access the guide online:
- Go to our Washington Consumers' Checkbook online database
- Logon with your MRSPL card
- Using the search box in the upper right of the screen, search for "guide" or "federal".
- Select "Guide to Health Plans for Federal Employees & Annuitants" from the search results that appear.
Print Version No Longer Published:
Checkbook has informed us that they are no longer releasing a print version of the guide. Access is only available using the online version.
