Event Details

Michael Albert is based in White Plains, New York. He has been bringing his nationally renowned “Modern Pop Art Experience” Art programs to libraries all over the USA for more than a decade & will be returning to Falls Church Virginia on Sunday April 2 for a special afternoon session of art making at the Mary Riley Styles Public Library! 

This workshop starts with a introduction to the artist and his works. After that the program includes a HANDS-ON COLLAGE WORKSHOP where the participants get to create their own collages using the same materials he uses to create his serious works of art, and finishes with a FREE POSTER GIVEAWAY & SIGNING - Mr. Albert brings about 20 different prints (which he has self-published in limited quantities) for the each participant to choose from as a special gift for coming to the event. 

We will provide materials but we encourage you to bring your own cereal or other boxes to use in your creation. This program is appropriate for ages Kindergarten to Adult.
