It's seven in the morning.  The Bantrys of Gossington Hall wake to find the body of a young woman in their library.  She is wearing evening dress and lurid make-up.  But who is she?  How did she get there?  And is there a connection with another dead girl, whose charred body is later discovered in the abandoned quarry?  The Bantrys, respected gentry in the village, invite Miss Marple to solve the mystery... before tongues start to wag.  This is the second mystery novel in the Miss Jane Marple series.

Come in, get cozy and enjoy a group discussion of books of mystery and suspense by famous and lesser known authors from the Golden Age of Mysteries.  Meetings will be held every other month, usually on the 4th Wednesday of that month. We have been holding Hybrid meetings; you can join in-person or via zoom
