Overdrive/Libby:
- Available through March with no waitlist, check out Kindred by Octavia Butler! Checkout the extraordinary story of two people bound by blood, separated by so much more than time as Butler explores power and responsibility in her 1979 masterpiece.
- Women's History Month: A selection of inspirational fiction and nonfiction ebooks and audiobooks celebrating women's history.
- Women's Empowerment: A selection of fiction and nonfiction ebooks and audiobooks celebrating stories of women taking charge of their lives.

FC Women's History Herstory Station
Beginning March 1st in honor of National Women’s History Month, the Falls Church Women's Group is hosting a month-long, City-wide scavenger hunt to find the 60 Women’s History Walk Signs, which will be posted at 28 locations all around the city, from City Hall to the Library, outside each of the schools, and in businesses. These multiple, smaller exhibitions are in lieu of the one-day walk in May, which will return in May of 2024.

Author Talk with Diana Parsell
On Saturday, April 15 at 1 pm, local author Diana P. Parsell will discuss her new book Eliza Scidmore: The Trailblazing Journalist Behind Washington's Cherry Trees. Published by Oxford University Press in March 2023, Eliza Scidmore is the first-ever biography of the women whose persistence over two decades led to the planting of the first cherry-blossom trees in Washington donated from Japan. The many new findings in the book describe Scidmore's little-known achievements as a pioneering female journalist and intrepid travel writer. Learn more & RSVP...
