Community Engagement Sessions: October 18-20

As part of our strategic planning process, Mary Riley Styles Public Library is holding a series of facilitated focus groups to determine how the library can best serve the Falls Church community. Your feedback will help us create new mission and vision statements for the library, as well as a targeted 3-5 year plan to emphasize the programs and services deemed most important to the community.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?  

Anyone can participate! Although each group has a broad "theme," all sessions are open to anyone interested in sharing their thoughts and feedback about the library. So please attend the session that best fits your schedule! 

HOW LONG IS EACH SESSION? WHERE WILL THEY BE HELD? 

• Each session will run approximately 45-60 minutes.
• All sessions - except the Senior session on Oct 18 @ 9 am - will be held in-person in the library. (The Senior session will be held at the FC Senior Center.) 
• Sessions will be facilitated by our consulting partners, Rob Cullen and Janet Nelson from ReThinking Libraries.

Wednesday, October 19

• 11:00 am: Historical & Cultural Groups REGISTER
• 7:00 pm: Library Board of Trustees - PUBLIC MEETING

Thursday, October 20

• 11:00 am: Parents & Caregivers REGISTER
